February 2024: Salmones Camanchaca belongs to a corporate group that has adopted the best global sustainability practices for its industry

The 20th edition of the Sustainability Yearbook aims to recognize companies that have demonstrated corporate sustainability expertise within their industries. It evaluated over 9,400 companies with only 759 achieving membership, which includes Salmones Camanchaca. Furthermore, 260 companies in the Industrial Food section were evaluated and it featured among the 19 companies subsequently selected.

For the second consecutive year, this salmon farming company featured among the companies with the best sustainability practices, according to the latest Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) conducted by S&P Global. Consequently, it became a member of the Sustainability Yearbook 2024.

Alfredo Tello, the Technical and Sustainability Manager, said that “these results indicate that our business strategy is on the right track, as it integrates environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues, with a strong focus on operational excellence and building reliable relationships with the Company’s internal and external stakeholders”.

The Sustainability Yearbook 2024 is a prestigious annual publication by S&P Global, which recognizes and classifies the most committed companies worldwide. Selection follows an evaluation using a Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA).
