Jorge Fernández García Chairman Economist and Business Administrator

  • He is a Economist and Buisness Administrator, he studied at the University of Chile, finishing in 1988.
  • Since his professional beginnings, in 1989, he has worked managing various areas of the company, working in pelaic fishing businesses, prawns and other seafood, Among the most notable achievements is the construction of the plant in San Antonio in 2001.
  • He served as CEO of Salmones Camanchaca for 15 years. a position he held from 2003 ulntil his resignation in April 2018 to apply as director of the company. It highlights in its management the development of all segments of its value chain, including the acquisition of strategic assets.
  • As CEO of Salmones Camanchaca, he led its opening on the Santiago Stock Exchange and the Oslo Stock Exchange in 2018.
  • On April 26, 2018, he was elected as president of the company, a position previously held by his father, Jorge Fernández Valdés, founder of the company.

  • Economist and Business Administrator and Master's in Economics, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He also holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, United States.
  • Vice chairman of Salmones Camanchaca S.A. since April 2018, and General Manager Camanchaca S.A. since 2011.
  • Previously he worked 20 years in north American financial group AIG, where he was CEO for Latam &Caribe between 2005 and 2010, and Chairman of Seguros Interamericana between 2003 and 2010. Between 1992 and 1998 he was CFO of Seguros Interamericana and Vice Chairman of Investments for Latam. Previously I worked in the Investment Banking of Banco Santander.
  • He has been director and Chairman of Amcham Chile and Co-Chairman of the Global Salmon Initiative, and currently Chairman of the Chilean Marketing Council.
  • He also has a long teaching career, as a professor of Economics and Finance at the Catholic University of Chile and other universities between 1986 and 1994.

Francisco Cifuentes Correa Director Lawyer

  • He is currently Vice Chairman of the parent company Camanchaca S.A., a position he has held since 2011. He is also Chairman of Camanchaca Pesca Sur S.A.
  • In addition, he is director of Salmones Camanchaca S.A., Camanchaca Cultivos Sur S.A., Fiordo Blanco S.A. and Inmobiliaria Camanchaca S.A.
  • He was CEO of Camanchaca S.A., a position he held since 1980, leading the most important expansion and development processes of the parent company, including the creation of the Salmones business division and the opening on the stock exchange of Camanchaca S.A.
  • Previously, he served as Chief Counsel of IBM Chile S.A.
  • He was elected in 2006, the best CEO of the fishing industry by Revista Capital.

Felipe Sandoval Pretch Director Civil Engineer

  • He is a civil engineer from the University of Chile, and has extensive experience in the corporate area.
  • He has been Undersecretary of Fisheries and Minister Vice chairman of the Chilean Production Development Corporation (CORFO). In 2014 he became president of Salmon Chile, a position he held for almost four years, until 2017, where the focus on the sustainability of the industry and the link with the environment and its communities is highlighted.
  • He has been a Director of Salmones Camanchaca S.A. since November 2017, and also of other companies such as the reciprocal guarantee company SUAVAL S.A.G.R., factoring SUFACTOR S.A. and the construction company Arauco S.A.

Tore Valderhaug Director Public Administrator Authorized by the Norwegian State

  • Financial advisor with 10 years of experience in external auditing and nearly 20 years of experience as Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") in several Norwegian listed companies in different industries.
  • Between 2009-2014, he was the CFO of the Cermaq group, one of the largest companies within the salmon industry.
  • In 2014 he was the CFO and head of business development at the private pharmaceutical company PHARMAQ AS until it was sold in late 2015.
  • Since November 2017 he has served as board member in Salmones Camanchaca S.A.
  • In addition he is today Board member in two privately held companies within aquaculture and pharmaceutical industry as well as adviser to Grobest Group, a Taiwan based regional leading manufacturer of feed to shrimp and high value fish for the South East Asian markets.

  • He has also served as Director of several companies such as SMU, Executive Director of Copesa S.A., Camanchaca, Salmones Camanchaca, among others.

Joaquín Villarino Herrera Independent Board Member Lawyer

  • Lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He also holds a PhD in Law from the University of Navarra and has been a professor of Commercial Law for 20 years.
  • He has been a director at Aguas Andinas S.A., Inversiones Aguas Metropolitanas S.A., ESSAL S.A., Aguas Argentinas S.A. and Compañía Chilena de Navegación Interoceánica S.A.
  • He has also been a counselor for Sofofa and the Center for Public Studies; director of the Cultural Heritage Foundation and lawyer of the Prieto y Cía law firm.
  • He was a member of the Presidential Advisory Commission for the reform of the Environmental Assessment System, the Energy 2050 Commission and the Decarbonization Bureau.
  • He is Executive Chairman of the Mining Council of Chile A.G. since 2011 and on his behalf participates in the International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM) and participated in the Program for Sustainable Development of the Extractive Industry of the OECD.
  • In addition, he is director and member of the audit and human capital committees of Salfacorp S.A. since 2014.
