We are committed to making a responsible, efficient and effective use of antibiotics in our production cycles. Every antibiotic treatment must be prescribed by a certified veterinarian and with clinical evidence of disease requiring treatment. A key element of antibiotic stewardship is to accurately and timely track our use of antibiotics. The amount of antibiotic used is calculated as the amount of active pharmaceutical ingredient (API in grams) per tonne of fish produced (LWE). It is calculated for closed cycles on a 12 month rolling basis; updated quarterly.
